®Vinnolit C 65 V is a homopolymer whose small particle size and narrow particle-size distribution have been selected to suit the particular needs of paste making. Due to its extremely low plasticizer absorption at room temperature, the extender resin ®Vinnolit C 65 V lowers the viscosity of plastisols and reduces dilatancy if present. It also increases the shelf life of the pastes.®Vinnolit C 65 V is used as a blend component together with other emulsion or microsuspension paste grades.

Processing and Application
®Vinnolit C 65 V is readily incorporated into
PVC plastisols by means of a dissolver, without
formation of agglomerates.
®Vinnolit C 65 V is used primarily in pastes with
a low or medium plasticizer content. In such
plastisols, it lowers the viscosity, increases the
shelf life and reduces dilatancy. Use of an
extender allows a larger amount of filler to be
added without impairment of the paste’s
rheological properties.
®Vinnolit C 65 V is suitable for both compact
coatings and mechanically frothed or
chemically blown foam. When used in the
usual concentrations, it will not adversely
affect foam structure or surface texture.
Outstanding properties of ®Vinnolit C 65 V are:
• Significant lower viscosity
• Weakening of dilatancy
• Increasing storage stability of plastisols
